Produce 101 is a Korean survival show for male trainees who will go through rounds of elimination in order to form a final group based on votes of national producers. There are 101 trainees who step up to participate, each from different entertainment companies. This show contains of 11 episodes and the show is run by Mnet, and the producing director is BoA- an icon in the South-Korean music industry. In Season 2, there are final top 11 ranked trainees who will be placed in a group to return as rookie idols, a big upgrade from trainees to idols. The final group consists of the top 11 trainees who "graduated" from Produce 101. The newly formed group is called Wanna One, which includes Kang Daniel, Park Jihoon, Lee Daehwi, Kim Jaehwan, Ong Seongwoo, Park Woojin, Lai Guanlin, Yoon Jisung, Hwang Minhyun, Bae Jinyoung, Ha Sungwoon (ranked in order).
